Orbit Hydraulic Motors

The strength and durability, the compact size and flexibility in the torques allow these orbitmotors to be used in many fields of applications, and generally where low rotation speeds and high torque ratings are required. The hydraulic motor range is divided in ROTOR and ROLLER. ROTOR, orbital unit where the lobes are fixed and set directly on the stator: this is particularly suited for long working cycles at average pressure. ROLLER, orbital unit where the hydrodynamically supported rollers reduce friction to a minimum, thereby ensuring maximum durability and high output at high pressure.

Our completely European-made range comprises motors with displacements form 20cc to 8000cc, available in both fixed and dual speed versions and combined with planetary gearboxes, brakes and valves of various kinds. Our output also includes a large selection of radial piston flow dividers with a wide range of flow rates, from 5 l/min to 590 l/min per section. These flow dividers, also available in multi-stage versions and with a variety of ratios, guarantee synchronisation precision of over 99% which, combined with excellent efficiency, makes this product extremely popular with our customers.

Hydraulic Flow Dividers

Italgroup flow dividers are made using radial piston motors. Thanks to this characteristic, they can reach a very high accuracy. The synchronization error depends by different factors: Oil viscosity and temperature; System pressure mean value and variability; Total flow rate that must be divided. Our flow-dividers approximate synchronization error is about ±0.5%. This synchronization degree is maintained over a wide flow range. In addition, due to the low leakage rate located in every individual section, the high synchronization degree is maintained with different load conditions. Our flow dividers can be: Two sections (FD series) and multistage (FDM series, up to 8 sections).
